our first session is really about getting to know you and what’s been going on in your world. it is a little more structured than regular sessions. i’ll ask questions to get a clear picture of your story, what brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping for. by the end, we’ll have a sense of what our work together might look like moving forward.

i work with adults 18 and older in ohio who are seeking individual therapy. i support clients navigating anxiety, self-esteem, mood concerns, trauma, life transitions, relationship patterns, and emotional overwhelm. my work is especially well-suited for people who want a thoughtful, relational approach and are ready to build deeper insight and lasting change.

selman wellness is a private pay practice

i do not work directly with insurance companies, but i partner with Thrizer so you can easily receive out-of-network reimbursement (if applicable). i also offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots when availability allows. if cost is a concern, you’re welcome to ask and we can explore options together!

payment is due on the day of your session. i accept major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards.

i work monday through thursday, 10am-5pm.

selman wellness is an online practice. all sessions are offered virtually via a secure video platform, making it easier to fit therapy into your life and schedule.

i ask for at least 48 hours advance notice to cancel appointments. this helps make your spot available to someone who may be waiting for an opening.

if you notify me less than 48 hours before the appointment, you may be responsible for a missed appointment fee. this fee is typically $90.00 for late cancellations and up to the full session cost for no-shows.
