my approach
i take an integrative, relational approach that draws from mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment-based, psychodynamic, and EMDR therapy. in our work, we pay attention to what’s happening now while also exploring deeper patterns and past experiences that shape how you feel and respond. sessions feel thoughtful and supportive, helping you build insight, try new ways of relating, and create change that lasts.
over time, clients i work with often feel more compassionate toward themselves, more in control of their emotions, and more connected to their values, relationships, and inner voice.

reaching out is the hardest part, but getting started is simple. you can request a free 15-minute phone consultation through the contact form to ask questions and see if therapy feels like a good fit. if we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule an initial assessment.
-
our first session is really about getting to know you and what’s been going on in your world. it is a little more structured than regular sessions. i’ll ask questions to get a clear picture of your story, what brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping for. by the end, we’ll have a sense of what our work together might look like moving forward :)

payment is due on the day of your session unless we have mutually agreed on a different arrangement. i accept major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards. while my practice is self-pay, i’m happy to provide superbills if you’d like to seek reimbursement through your insurance.
i also offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots when availability allows. if cost is a concern, you’re welcome to ask and we can explore options together!

i ask for at least 48 hours advance notice to cancel appointments. this helps make your spot available to someone who may be waiting for an opening.
if you notify me less than 48 hours before the appointment, you may be responsible for a missed appointment fee. this fee is typically $90.00 for late cancellations and up to the full session cost for no-shows.
